Art, Design and Architecture school projects

Experimenting with and exploring how architecture ‘sculpts space’ and shapes our experience: taking a closer look at school and/or neighbourhood spaces and buildings to design and make an architectural-artistic installation that transforms these same spaces.

Art, Design and Architecture workshops

Integrating Art, Design and Architecture, and establishing links with other subjects of the National Curriculum, to foster critical and creative thinking and at the same time encourage a more interdisciplinary approach to the world and to problem solving.

Thank you for your amazing sessions you provided at our school. We have been in awe of your lessons and your creativity. I would’ve never thought of teaching architecture the way you did. So accessible and met our pupils’ sensory needs.

Iona Bullard, teacher

A group of pupils have benefitted from
Architect’s Club, facilitated by Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery… Led by practitioner Tatiana Machado, the pupils investigated architecture through different sensory experiences and perceptions of space… Thank you so much for this opportunity, Tatiana was brilliant, and our less advantaged pupils really relished this inspirational opportunity.

Diane Harris,

assistant headteacher

Thank you for… all the organisation behind the club running so successfully. We and the students really enjoyed it, and all students took their work home as they were proud of their achievements. One student’s work is going to be used in a future proposal for a shelter at school which is very exciting.

art subject leader and teacher
